Trivia
- The name seems to be a parody of the ABC Family (now Freeform) television show, Secret Life of an American Teenager.
- It is revealed that “Mr. Kipling” is in fact not a boy but A GIRL!!
- This is the first time the name Mrs. Kipling has been said
- The events of We Are So Grounded were mentioned.
- This is the last appearance of the season one intro
- This is the second episode titled after Mr. Kipling
- This serves as the last episode of season one
- Ravi naming three of the kids Rikki, Tikki, and Tavi is a reference to the book "Rikki-tikki-tavi", by Rudyard Kipling. It takes place in British India.
- Zuri's middle name, Zenobia, was revealed by Bertram in this episode.
- Ravi named one of his lizards Gupta, making a reference to the Diary of a Wimpy Kid movie series, where he played Chirag Gupta and Peyton List played Holly Hills.
- This is the fifth episode to be titled after a character’s name
- Morgan and Christina were mentioned
- Ravi named one of his lizards Kumar, a reference to Kumar Patel in the Harold and Kumar Films.
- Ravi also named the lizards Slumdog, possibly a reference to The 2008 film Slumdog Millionaire.
- This is the second episode to be directed by Eric Dean Seaton, the first being We Are So Grounded. Ironically, that episode was mentioned by Jessie saying "At least someone had fun on that trip".
- Millie the Mermaid died in this episode
- This is the last mention of Millie the Mermaid due to her death. She was mentioned again though in Rossed at Sea Part 1 and Cav'd In (BUNK'D)
- This is the Season 1 finale.
- A behind the scenes video was posted on the making of the restaurant scene
- This is the second time Ravi speaks in Hindi, the first being The Talented Mr. Kipling
- The working title was, "Make Way for Kiplings".
- The reason why Mrs. Kipling is pregnant because, back in the episode We Are So Grounded, she must've had mated with another lizard she met.
- This means that the lizard she met in We Are So Grounded was a boy.
- This is the only episode to air in September of 2012.
- The lizards are called:
- Padma
- Tikki
- Scooter
- Rikki
- Mohandas
- Slumdog
- Tavi
- Ravi Junior
- Kumar
- Sanjay
- Mowgli
- Gupta
Goofs
- Jessie, Luke, and Ravi were disguised as waiters/waitresses, and the owner believed that they were. However, he should've recognized them, as he saw them just a few minutes before.
- Zuri said that Millie the Mermaid was going to be buried in her coconut bra, but she asked Emma which dress she chose for her.
- When the eggs fell through the bottom of the box, Jessie, Luke, and Ravi should have realized that the eggs weren't Kipling's, due to Kipling's eggs being much larger than the ones that were in the box
